Getting started

Install

pip install agentl-etl # core: CSV, JSON, HTTP, SQLite, runner, dashboard
pip install 'agentl-etl[office,pdf]' # Excel, Word, PDF
pip install 'agentl-etl[anthropic]' # Claude as the LLM provider
pip install 'agentl-etl[all]'

agentl needs Python 3.10 or newer. The package is published as agentl-etl; you still import agentl and run the agentl command.

Your first pipeline

The repository ships an example that runs offline with the echo provider, so you can try it without an API key:

git clone https://github.com/arimayuji/agentl
cd agentl
pip install -e .
agentl validate examples/notas.yaml
agentl run examples/notas.yaml --show classificar

Use a real model

Switch the provider and export your key:

llm:
  provider: anthropic
  model: claude-opus-5-5
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=...
agentl run pipeline.yaml

Secrets

Never write keys in the YAML. Use ${VAR} and environment variables.
